3D model of human lung airway with the addition of barrier NANOSTACKSTM 

Different lung cell types are cultured in separate compartments for optimal conditions and enhanced reproducibility prior to assembly.

BARRIER NANOSTACKTM

Human bronchial epithelial cells grown on Barrier NANOSTACKTM to generate a confluent bronchial epithelial barrier, culturing cells in their own respective media

 NANOSTACKTM

Fibroblasts are cultured on NANOSTACKS™ with their own respective media prior to model assembly

 NANOSTACKTM

Smooth muscle cells are cultured on NANOSTACKS™ with their own respective media prior to model assembly

Pre-grown cells are assembled in 24 individual compartments of a well plate to create a multilayered lung model that closely resembles the in-vivo environment.

By combining the Barrier NANOSTACK™ and standard NANOSTACKS™, you can create a comprehensive 3D airway model that enables the exploration of lung biology, disease mechanisms, drug screening, and tissue engineering applications.
